Meet your Host | Tyrell Mara
Tyrell’s +20 year leadership and human performance journey started in athletics where he began his career captaining Championship basketball teams from High School to NCAA Division 1. He then continued his athletics journey as one of the top Crossfit athletes in Canada leading teams to 3rd and 4th place regional finishes. Tyrell also has a a background in Track and Field throwing Discus where he won Provincial and National Championships and finished 3rd at the Tokyo 2016 Canadian National Olympic Trials.
Over the last 10 years Tyrell has transferred that “high performance” athlete mentality to the boardroom, holding senior and executive leadership roles in Technology & Consulting organizations. The Human Performance Project is an initiative aimed at equipping emerging leaders, athletes and individual’s with a holistic toolset encompassing critical leadership traits such as resilience, empathy, and EQ, peak performance goal setting and rituals and a structured reflection process.
